KOUMASSI INTERSECTION FLYOVER

Rowad was selected to deliver the Koumassi Intersection Flyover in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, for the Millennium Challenge Account. The project consists of constructing a 700-meter-long, dual two-lane flyover, which required the demolition of existing structures and extensive earthworks, including soil shoring and piling. Works also include the removal and replacement of pavement, installation of drainage systems, safety features such as guardrails and signage, relocation of utilities, and the addition of landscaping and public lighting. Furthermore, the project encompasses the full redevelopment of the underlying Koumassi crossroads, enhancing traffic flow, safety, and urban mobility in one of Abidjan’s busiest districts.
