In cooperation with DP World, Rowad was awarded the full construction of onshore yard works for the new Basin 2 container terminal, as well as upgrades to the existing Basin 1 terminal. The scope includes terminal pavements, operational and administrative buildings, and comprehensive civil, electrical, and mechanical works. Key components comprise pavements, substructures, drainage systems, markings, a reefer substation, gantry installations, high-mast lighting, fire cabinets, hydrants, and drain covers. The project also features a new 150,000 DWT multi-purpose terminal (500m) designed for 1.75M TEU throughput, covering a total area of 650,000 m².
