OCTOBER DRY PORT

-Rowad proudly undertook the design, supply, and installation of railway works for the October Dry Port Project, spanning 3 kilometers of expertly crafted railway infrastructure. This project included the installation of international standard K54 rails on Vosloh concrete flangeless sleepers, complemented by basalt ballast and phased tamping to achieve the designed elevation. Additionally, it encompassed the study, design, and planning of the mainline tracks and station yards, along with the supply and installation of K54 turnouts using traditional bolted joints.

-This project is a cornerstone in enhancing Egypt’s logistics and transportation network, connecting the October Dry Port to the national railway system.
