LIGHT RAIL TRANSIT DEPOT (LRT)

Rowad was selected to deliver the Light Rail Transit (LRT) Depot project in Badr City, Cairo, Egypt, through a 50-50 joint venture (JV) with Gama Construction. The scope covers the complete construction of 26 railway workshop buildings, supported by all associated infrastructure, landscaping, roadworks, subgrade works, and a surrounding fence extending 3,112 meters. Additionally, the project includes the construction of a 123 km precast concrete fence along the mainline, ensuring operational security and enhancing the efficiency of Egypt’s expanding LRT network.
