In collaboration with one of the world’s leading port developers, DP World, Rowad has been awarded the upgrading and rehabilitation works for the Port of Algiers Container Terminal, serving as the main contractor. The project involves the rehabilitation of the 30-hectare container terminal currently operated by DP World. The scope of work includes constructing Ship-to-Shore (STS) crane foundations along the quay wall, refurbishing the apron behind the quay, and reconstructing the yard with all associated services and utilities. The terminal is designed to handle a forecast throughput of 18,500 TEU containers and accommodate 123,600 m² of general cargo.
