The Cairo-Alexandria Fly-Over was severely damaged in an unfortunate fire and since the bridge is considered as one of the vital capacity absorber in Alexandria, it was essential to have its repair works done in the minimum needed time as well as managed by the most prestigious repair and renovation companies in Egypt. RME scope in the repair of the bridge included
the removal of the bridge’s damaged concrete cover, and sandblasting the chiseled concrete and old reinforcement steel. Other activities included the subsequent installation of reinforcement anchors by epoxy then fixing the reinforcement mesh and finally using the concrete gun to cover this mesh.
